About the Game
A mysterious creature awakens in a world consumed by darkness and silence. Explore this lonely place, collect magical bubbles, rotate the world, and uncover what remains hidden in the shadows.

This game was created for The Very Serious Juniper Dev Game Jam.
Every line of code, all pixel art, game design, and level design were created by me as a solo developer during the jam. The only external assets used are the music and sound effects, which were legally licensed from the 270 Music & SFX Bundle by Alkakrab.

Huh. I was kind of enjoying its surrealism--got as far as, um, making a green...thing...rise from the ground. But then as I went back across the space, I reached the starting point and suddenly I got the original "you know what to do" box and I couldn't dismiss it.
Hey! I submitted the game early just to make sure I got it into the jam, but today I'll upload the updated and finalized version.
Corrected
OK, I see there wasn't much more than the final message, but I'm glad I went back and read it anyway. I like this. The main thing it might have lacked is risk: navigation seemed very easy (I fell off the screen once this time) and generally low-penalty. But the exploration aspects were very cool, in terms of transforming the world around you and in opening up new places to go. I hope you decide to see where you can take this!
Thanks for the feedback. I actually intended to include other platforming challenges and an additional navigation section involving a slumbering colossus, but I didn't have the time to finish that for the game jam. However, if it performs well, I definitely want to complete it—and perhaps even turn it into a full release—since I have many ideas that require much more time to fully realize.
